Happy new year! :D

enchanted kingdom today...

just got back from enchanted kingdom. super uber tired! gosh.

arrived there at 3pm, lined up for tickets for almost an hour and got in to a very jam-packed EK...

there were so many people, on a tuesday! who would have thought that there are a lot of employees on leave on december 29th?! oh well, the rides' queue were so long it would take at least 40 minutes just for one to experience a ride.

all we wanted was to get to ride the space shuttle and rio grande, but never got the chance to... *sigh*.

but it was a great night, we spent the day with family so we just enjoyed what time we had together. :)

note to self: next time, don't go to EK during peak season.

i hope we really get to go to enchanted tomorrow, as planned. i'm so so looking forward to spending a day outside, not facebooking. :)

my new ADORABLE keychain!

just wanted to show my new lovely keychain, which i bought last weekend :)

i saw this the first time around 2 months ago, but stopped myself from buying it.

and last week, it suddenly crossed my mind. i decided to buy it, on the premise that it's still at the store.

to my surprise, this was the last piece! so i automatically bought it! :) happiness! :)

after x years, a revival

been quite a while since i last posted an entry here. should i say that i just lost interest updating it? or should i say that i got busy and so caught up in my own world that i lost track? maybe it's both, or a play of several factors.

anyway, it's just a matter of writing again and reviving this blog that will start the habit again. so i'm starting now.

what do i have to say? well, i'm bored. i have a lot of time in my hands that i don't know how to spend it.

today, these are the things i did:

1. woke up around 9am

2. ate breakfast

3. fb

4. fb some more

5. took a bath

6. back to fb-ing

7. ate lunch

8. played bejeweled at fb

9. and now, blogging

you can just imagine how much time i spent on each of the activities and you'll figure out where most of my time went to - fb-ing. all because i have so much time to spare.

i don't know if having so much time is a good idea. all year long, i've been waiting for this long vacation to come around. all year long, while i was so immersed at work and stressed out with all that i've been doing, i had this at the back of my mind. that i'd have a long time to spend on my own, outside of work, and i'd be able to relax.

well, i'm not complaining. i've enjoyed the past few days of my leave, going shopping, sleeping in, fb-ing, and what have you. i'm grateful for the time that i have to spend on my own and think about everything else except for work.

but i guess, there's a cap to it. as the saying goes, everything should be in moderation. when taken in excess, it's bad for you.

the question is, what is moderation? in this particular case, is 2 weeks just the right amount of time for one's vacation leave? i know i don't wanna go back to work just yet. but there's nothing i have to do.

well, i have a few more days to spend - 6 days to be exact. i guess i'll have to just live by the day and enjoy what i have. tomorrow, i know, will be a better day, because i'll be going somewhere so i won't be bummed out! :)
